Truck Training Course

Our Truck Operator Training covers, but is not limited to:

• Understanding truck controls and instrumentation
• Starting, stopping, and steering the truck safely
• Operation of hydraulic controls
• Proper battery care and maintenance
• Weight assessment and load distribution
• Safe handling of laden and unladen pallets
• Driving on and off ramps, inclines, and uneven surfaces
• Stacking and de-stacking safely
• Adherence to the operators' safety code

Our training is tailored to meet the experience level of each candidate:

• Novice Operator: 32.5 hours
• Experienced (untrained) Operator: 19.5 hours
• Refresher Training (recommended every 3 years): 6.5 hours
• Conversion Training (from counterbalance to reach truck): 13 hours

We maintain a 3:1:1 instructor-to-trainee-to-truck ratio for optimal learning and hands-on experience.
